Learning how to windsurf has never been easier! Now the equipment is light and stable, gone are the days of constantly falling off, wobbly boards and heavy sails.

Reactive's RYA windsurfing school is based at the Mount Batten Watersports Centre (across the water from our shop). We can teach up to advanced planning techniques.

The RYA windsurfing school has been open since 1996. It has excellent parking, changing + shower facilities as well as a bar/restaurant on the waters edge. The school equipment is never more than 1 year old.

Beginners

Windsurfing 2hr Taster £39
Try windsurfing and get the basics, 2 hours including gear hire and instruction. You’ll be sailing up and down and turning around too!

Start windsurfing (2 DAY COURSE) £120
4 hours per day, learn to sail upwind, downwind, tack and gybe. We’ll teach you to be saftey aware and to be able to rig your own equipment. RYA logbook and certificate presented at end of course.

Intermediate to Advanced

Based on £20 per hour - min 2 hours.
We run courses for all levels of windsurfing such as:
