The DaKine Wideload surfboard tail pad is made using the new 'Friendly Foam' which uses a biodegradable EVA foam with EcoOne additives to accelerate biodegradation. Developed and designed to fit wide tail surfboards; longboards, mid lengths and modern hybrids.
The Wideload 3-piece pad has a 25mm rolled ramp kick tail with bevelled edges to reduce drag. There is a 7mm central arch and die-cut holes for reduced weight and better grip.
Greatly improves back foot traction when you're pushing hard in the turns, and is a great indicator that your foot is above the fins and "on the gas". Lightweight and grippy 3-piece tail pad you can spread out to fit any wide tail surfboard.

Dakine Wideload Performance Surf Traction Deck Pad
Working in partnership with EcoLogicR, Dakine has developed Friendly Foam; EVA traction with EcoOneR additives to accelerate biodegradation. Friendly Foam will degrade only after entering biologically active landfills. After biodegradation, the leftover material is biomass, with trace amounts of biogas that is either harvested as renewable energy or burned off to reduce environmental impact.
